This November, Fast Air Heating & Cooling wants to honor a deserving local veteran in a BIG way.

We’re giving ONE deserving veteran a BRAND-NEW HVAC SYSTEM, professionally installed by Fast Air – at no cost to them.

But we need our community to help us find that person.

KNOW A DESERVING VETERAN?

We want to hear their story.

Nominate a veteran who:

  • Served in the U.S. military
  • Owns and lives in their home within Fast Air's eligible service area
  • Has an aging, unreliable or failing HVAC system
  • Has a genuine need where receiving a new system would make a meaningful difference
You can nominate a family member, friend, neighbor, coworker, fellow veteran—or yourself.

By submitting this nomination, you confirm that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge and understand that submission does not guarantee selection.

If your nominee advances as a finalist, Fast Air Heating & Cooling will contact you and/or the veteran privately to verify eligibility, veteran status, homeownership, and the condition of the HVAC system.

Please do NOT send military records, Social Security numbers, financial account information, or other sensitive documents through social media. We will privately coordinate any necessary verification with finalists.

The number of nominations, likes, comments, or shares a veteran receives will not affect their chances of being selected.

Qualified nominations will be evaluated using predetermined criteria by an independent panel of local contractors and community professionals—not Fast Air employees.

THIS IS NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST.

It doesn’t matter how many likes, shares or nominations someone receives.

Every qualified veteran deserves to have their story considered fairly.

That’s why Fast Air employees will not choose the recipient.

We’ve chosen to turn that responsibility over to an independent panel of respected local contractors and community professionals.

They’ll review the qualified nominations using the same predetermined criteria:

  • 35% Need & Hardship
  • 25% HVAC Need
  • 25% Impact
  • 15% Veteran's Story & Community

HOW TO NOMINATE

Click the nomination link and tell us:

  1. Who are you nominating?
    Tell us a little about the veteran and their military service.
  2. Why are you nominating them?
    Tell us their story. What makes this person special to you or their community?
  3. What’s happening with their HVAC system?
    Tell us what you know. It doesn’t have to be technical.
  4. Why would replacing the system be difficult for them right now?
  5. What would receiving a brand-new HVAC system mean to this veteran and their household?
  6. Why do you believe they should be selected as our 2026 Comfort for a Hero recipient?

Please include at least one picture of their existing HVAC equipment.

Additional pictures are welcome but not required.

WE'LL HANDLE VERIFICATION PRIVATELY

We do not want veterans posting sensitive military documents on social media.

If someone becomes a finalist, Fast Air will contact them privately to verify:

  • Veteran status
  • Homeownership
  • Residence
  • Service-area aligibility

Fast Air will also perform a complimentary HVAC inspection for finalists before the final recipient is selected.

Judges select the finalists.

HVAC Inspection

Inspects finalist HVAC system

Eligibility verified

Finalist eligibility is confirmed.

Final selection

Independent judges select the recipient.

Fair and impartial judging

Where practical, identifying information is removed from initial judging packets so judges evaluate the nomination-not the name.
Judges who personally know a nominee must disclose the relationship and not score that nomination.
